Other than Posey? I think they need some more guard help, particularly if Tony Allen goes. I think House might be gone, and I hope Cassell is gone, and I just don’t know what Gabe Pruitt has to offer yet.

Well… Regarding the race thing, I don’t think that comes into it to me, but I don’t know that you can really discount it in general. Really, I like Doc. You can ask my wife, I stay up to listen to all his press conferences and everything. I do think that he could handle Rondo better, he seems to have a real short leash with him sometimes. (Of course, Rondo has developed into a pretty good point guard, pretty quickly, while directly under Doc’s watch. So, it’s equally possible that I’m an idiot.

As for predictions.. I’m going to be surprised (and very worried) if it goes seven now, but I think six games is a real possibility.

Are you sure Rondo is that old? By the looks of him, I could have sworn he just graduated from Kennedy Middle School last year and is the only freshman in high school to play in the NBA.

It’s funny to read these predictions in the light of game 4. How has your opinion changed–Steve and commentors?

Also, who likes Doc Rivers and who doesn’t like him and whose opinion is altered due to last night’s game and who else besides me thinks that a lot of people don’t like him because of his race?

Pierce & KG did shoot poorly, but the Lakers also missed 13 FT’s (Cs missed 7).

On the radio this morning I heard a clip of KG saying he was going to drive to the hoop more in Game 4. That’s very promising.

I heard on Sportscenter (I think) that Vujacic’s 20 points was the first time Phil Jackson has had a bench player score 20 in the playoffs.

Can you tell me why Doc did not continue to feed off Ray Allen’s red hot hand last game? Was it because he was guarding Kobe? Ray was 5-7 3-pt. I never watched a game while he was with the Sonics, but I remember hearing that vintage Ray was similar to his 4th Quarter in the All-Star game.

6 Games with the Lakers winning? WTF. 9 times out of 10, if the celts hold LA to 87 points, Boston will come off with a victory. They shot the ball poorly and lost by 6 points. I don’t see the Lakers winning 1 more.

I agree with most of your thoughts on the game except one point. I’m still keeping the series at six games with the Lakers winning. However, depending on how Boston plays in Game 5, it could go to seven. We already know Boston will lose the next game thanks to the NBA.
