I know. There are a slew of poorly written personal blogs out there. I know this. I also am aware of the fact that I have started and stopped at least three, and maybe four blogs, just in the past couple of years. So why will this one be any different? Who knows if it will! What I do know is that for one reason or another, I didn’t like those blogs. Maybe it was the name, maybe it was my writing. Maybe, just maybe, I have the attention span of a gnat, and can’t keep up with the demands of my critics. I mean audience. Does this mean the death of the other blogs? Well, let’s be honest, my sports blog never even got off the ground. The F Show was fun, but only while other people were writing. I figure I’ll leave that one open for a while for things like videos and links to things that are funny. Dogface questions? I may import them over here, I’m told that shouldn’t be that hard. Or.. I may not. I might just leave it over there in the links section.
So. What’s Tools of my Ignorance going to be about?
Ehhh…I’m working on that. Topics will be random, but predictable. Look, I’m not going to write about things I don’t know anything about. I like books, I like movies, I like sports. I like my dog. So pretty much, that’s what I’m going to write about. I wrote about my wife once, but that didn’t actually go over that well. At all. So, I’m going to avoid things that are too personal. I’m going to try to avoid writing about how much I hate my job. I promise to use way to many paranthesis’ and ellipses… and I will also try to write fairly often. Periodically, I will write a post about how I’m changing the way I write the blog, and then within days I will go back to whatever was easy. There will be typos, there will be grammatical errors. Some of these may even be on porpoise.Posts may be really, really, long.. Or they may be really short. Things that attract more comments may get written about more often, but then again, they may not too. Anyways, bear with me as I get the creative juices flowing again..
